Half term and summer holidays are all about adventure! Try our Dare Devil activities (Available at additional cost) – all supervised by qualified outdoor Instructors. High adrenaline activities include a new and extended High Ropes Course, Climbing, Caving, Mega Zip Wire, Canoeing and Kayaking!
Dartmoor Bike Park is located at River Dart Country Park. With an impressive Freeride Area designed and built by ex-pro BMXer Kye Forte, the skills area consists of four runs graded from blue to orange. The range of short runs contains sizeable jumps, a ‘boner log’ drop and a mulch trick jump. Gravity fuelled riding is now possible at Dartmoor Bike Park! (Available at additional cost)

Do you have to book River Dart Country Park?
At the campsite bookings are accepted for a minimum stay of 2 nights during the low and mid season and three nights in high season. Only one car with caravan, tent or trailer tent or one motorhome is included per pitch. Extra vehicles must be parked in the car park, a charge of £5 per night per vehicle is payable.
Are dogs allowed at River Dart Country Park?
At River Dart Country Park, we welcome dogs for day visits and for camping trips. We know how much our visitors love their dogs. If you’re looking to enjoy a holiday or day visit with us and don’t want to leave your furry family member at home, not a problem. Our site is dog friendly, so your beloved pooch doesn’t miss out on any family fun!
Your dog will love all the sights, sounds and smells of the park. With lots of space for long riverside walks and country air, they will be able to enjoy the great outdoors just as much as the rest of the family!
We now stock a great range of doggy essentials in our Park Shop and tasty dog meals are available on our menu at the Old Sawmill. Pop in and treat your pups! We also have water bowls dotted around the site.
