Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change my visit date?

Once online tickets are purchased they are non-refundable and non-transferable. We are also unable to part refund should you book too many tickets, wrong ticket type or some of your group do not visit on the day.

Under extenuating circumstances and at management discretion we may move a booking. For this an admin fee would apply. If management agrees to move a booking, the whole booking would need to be moved. We cannot move part of a booking.

Can I go out and come back later in the same day?

If you wish to leave Diggerland and return the same day, at no extra charge, please have your hand stamped in the Goodie Store or keep hold of your receipt.

Failure to obtain a hand stamp or keep hold of your receipt in order to present for re-admission will result in you not being re-admitted.

Refunds or exchanges are not possible in the event of poor weather or attraction closure.

How old do children need to be to enter Diggerland alone?

Minimum age for unaccompanied children is 13 years
Minimum age to accompany a younger child is 16 years

Does everyone entering Diggerland require a ticket?

Yes, everyone entering the Diggerland park requires a suitable ticket. Adults, OAPs and children who measure over 100cm require a paid for entry ticket. Children who measure under 100cm enter for free.

What does the general entry admission price include?

The general entry admission price covers all of the main Diggerland rides & drives. Optional extras include the dodgems, quad-bikes and superdigs, which are charged at £1 per go. We accept both cash and card payments. Please bring spare change to enjoy the coin operated rides.

Are there time slots to enter Diggerland?

No, once you purchase tickets you are welcome to turn up anytime from 10am when we open. This is also noted on your booking confirmation email.

Can I attend as a single adult with more than one child?

All single adults are more than welcome to visit Diggerland with more than one child, however please be aware if they are under the recommended height restriction they will need to be accompanied by an adult, which may leave a child waiting alone. Please see our rides and drives page for more details.

I am pregnant, do I have to pay & can I enjoy the rides?

The majority of our rides and attractions are very gentle as we have young children enjoying, riding and operating them, so these should be fine. We would suggest having a look at our ride page prior to visiting, each ride (when you click on one) has more information and a short video.

We would recommend probably not going on the Spindizzy, Groundshuttle, JCB 3CX ride/drive or Dodgems. Please note unfortunately as all our rides & attractions are included in the entrance price and it is not a pay per ride attraction park, all members who are attending the park are required to purchase an entrance ticket. We also cannot provide discounts for pregnant women.

Please bear in mind, some younger children may be required to sit on an adults lap, which may prove difficult for children accompanied by pregnant visitors only.

Do you do NHS discount?

NHS staff are able to receive a discounted rate into our Diggerland parks, against the pay on the day rates. You will not be able to use this discount against online bookings. Further information can be found at https://www.healthstaffdiscounts.co.uk/

What age is Diggerland suitable for?

While Diggerland welcomes visitors of all ages, we recommend an ideal age of 4 years and above for the best experience. Children aged 4 and over can enjoy the majority of our rides and drives. Children under 100cm are free to enter but may have limited access to certain attractions. For those over 100cm, regardless of age, they can enjoy most rides and drives, accompanied by an adult. Feel free to check our rides and drives page for more information on the available attractions. We look forward to welcoming you and your family for a fun-filled day!

As good as I hoped!

I visited on Sunday with a 10 and 13 yr old and they loved it! Got there at opening time and it took the boys about 3 hours to have one go on everything, then a break to warm up with hot chocolates in a nice cafe/barn, then back out to re-try their favourites. Both loved the fact that they could drive or control everything!! The 4×4 driving and real JCB driving were favourites along with spindizzy. Park seems small compared to theme parks, but don’t be fooled, there is LOADS to do! Most staff were young, but really friendly and professional. If it had been warmer we would have stayed even longer. Go prepared for it to be diggers and mud and you’ll love it!

Visited during the kids October half term and they absolutely loved it. Entrance prices were fair to how much you get to go on in the park! The rides themselves are built from an amazing imagination, especially the SpinDizzy ride!

Definitely recommend visiting. We will be back again!

What a perfect day out! We had a spontaneous day out with our 2 children (4 & 6) on the last day it was open. We didn’t really know what to expect as we had never visited before, and from first observation it looked quite small compared to what we thought it would look like, but we spent the whole day from 10am when it opened, to 4pm and the children didn’t want to leave!

Would definitely recommend to anyone to visit here, we can’t fault day out. The staff were lovely and helpful and the park was very tidy!

Can’t wait to visit again when the parks open for the new season!
