Beat as One: African drumming workshop
More information

Join a vibrant, positive and lively drumming session that’s great fun for all the family.

Tue 22 and Wed 23 Feb
1hr sessions start at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, and 2.30pm

Feel the beat, learn some rhythms and explore the power of music as we delve into the cultures of West Africa and get hands-on with djembe and dun dun drums. In West Africa, drumming is part of life, and is used for many occasions such as family and community celebrations, official events and as an accompaniment and inspiration for people working. Combine your new-found drumming skills with bells, shakers, body percussion and even a spot of singing for a fun-filled session for young and old.

Ticket required for all participants.
