Celebrate Easter by spotting all the wildlife hidden around The Donkey Sanctuary!
The Sanctuary is bursting with life now that spring is on its way. Spot the wildlife that has thrived thanks to our stewardship of the land, aided by the donkeys of course!
Our happy drove of donkeys are our secret weapons in increasing the biodiversity on our land, their hooves and skins spread seeds far and wide, boosting the ecosystem to allow new fauna and flora to flourish.
Seek out some of the many species by finding the wildlife boards located around the sanctuary and matching them to the stickers provided.
Combine family fun, exercise and brainpower for just £5 per trail, including an Easter prize when you complete the trail. Head to the Gift Shop to pick up a trail sheet and you’re ready to uncover the wildlife.
Plus with a new play area, daily talks, scenic walks, engaging exhibits, award-winning gardens and, of course, hundreds of adorable donkeys to meet, there’s so much to explore with your own herd, whatever the weather. Friendly dogs on leads are welcome too!
Take sanctuary in our Taste of the West award-winning restaurant, The Kitchen, and enjoy fresh, local, seasonal produce while soaking in the unparalleled coast and country views. Breakfasts, lunches and tempting afternoon treats are dished up daily, with every penny of profit helping donkeys and mules around the world.
