Connecting colonialism, racism, cultural identities, the patriarchy, misogyny and legislation and how they have formed transphobia and affected current issues around gender identity. Increase your ability to talk about trans identities and history to be better able to support people in feeling less alone and more connected with a rich cultural heritage.
1pm-3pm: Family Pride
Family Pride events are simply about finding each other, having some fun, and boosting parent and child confidence. Parents and carers can have time together. Children and young people can have time together. An LGBT+ family may contain one or more parents who identify as LGBT+ and/or one or more children who identify as LGBT+.
TBC: Seaweed in the Fruit Locker performance
Seaweed in the Fruit Locker is a series of performances by an LGBTQIA+ sea shanty choir who were formed by Rhys Morgan to explore collective performance in marginalised communities through the tradition of shanty singing.
