History of the Southwest
More information

Are you interested in pottery, and what it can tell us about the past?

Hear from a range of pottery specialists from the Medieval and Later Pottery Research Group (MLPRG) as they present the latest research in South Western medieval pottery, and learn how it informs our understanding of the way people lived in the South West in the medieval period.

There will also be the opportunity to view medieval pottery from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum’s collections that is not normally on display. This collection is well established as one of the key regional collections of medieval and later pottery in the British Isles, and this is a fantastic opportunity to see it up close.

£5 with tea and coffee provided.

Over 16s only or accompanied 14-15 year olds, due to the fragile nature of the archaeological collections.
