The Schola Cantorum of The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School in London sings for the first time at Buckfast Abbey. This renowned boys’ choir, which provides soloists and chorus singers for London’s opera houses and which can be heard on many film soundtracks, presents a programme including Gabriel Fauré’s atmospheric Requiem, in addition music by J. S. Bach, John Taverner, Claudio Monteverdi and the choir’s patron, Sir James MacMillan.
