(John Allan – Exeter Cathedral Archaeologist)
John will enlighten you on how the Cathedral preserves good examples of several different style of medieval glass, including its orginal windows of the 13th century, 15th century glass in the same style as work in some Devon parish churches, and continental work of the late 15th century. We will use these examples to study the development of window glass in the later Middle Ages and then see its situation within the Cathedral.
