Explore a range of beautiful instruments from across the globe!

Musical moments around the world will introduce under 5s to wonderful music from different cultures; giving hands-on opportunities to play different instruments, learn new songs and find new places for music in your lives.

Each half-term block will focus on a different continent, illuminating a new instrument and its cultural place, bringing an awareness of various musical elements throughout. These sessions will plant beautiful seeds of music in your child to nurture and grow throughout the rest of their (and your) lives.

Book the whole block to maximise the musical and developmental benefits of working with rhythm and anticipation, or book one-off sessions to get a taste.

Families who book whole blocks will get priority for spaces and have the opportunity to pay on a sliding scale (£3 – £9 per session). Please pay what you can afford and consider how you may be able to help offer the opportunity to take part to others. Paying what you feel you can at this moment in your life will allow others to be able to join in, who may not otherwise be able to.

One-off sessions are £6, pending available spaces. Spaces are limited so please pre-book your time slot. For more information or to book, please email Mike at [email protected]

As a qualified teacher with a degree in Ethnomusicology, Mike Marks will use his passion for music as a vehicle for growth to lead the children (and accompanying adults) on a journey through rhythm and melody. Weaving the dimensions of music with natural and traditional instruments, Musical moments around the world will raise awareness of different cultures through music and create strong musical foundations
