Celebrating Orchard October at Killerton
This month we are celebrating Killerton’s heritage orchards. Enjoy apple activities everyday and join the ranger team at weekends to press apples and learn about traditional cider-making.
Apple and cider production on the Killerton estate has left a legacy of heritage orchards. Learn how the Killerton team are managing them and planting new ones to create havens for nature and wildlife. Follow a trail to one of the orchards to harvest apples for traditional cider making or pick your own to take home. Please bring a bag. Enjoy the apple activities around the house, garden and grounds.
