The Rehabilitation Triathlon is a Tri-Service adaptive event for wounded, injured or sick Service Personnel and Veterans.
Following on from the huge success of the Rehabilitation Triathlon 2022, hosted by the Royal Navy Recovery Centre Hasler, we are delighted to announce this awesome event will once again be taking place on the stunning Plymouth Hoe, on Thursday 22 June 2023.
Come along and show your support and admiration to these outstanding participants. This exciting triathlon will get the crowds excitement going as you see the pure determination and commitment of those competing in the event.
It is expected that 200 participants from the UK Tri-services and veterans will attend this event, along with International teams from the United States Marine Corps’ and Royal Netherlands Marine Corps’.
The event will have full and sprint distances with participants competing in six different categories dependent upon the nature of injury and their physical ability. A team relay (2 / 3 competitors) event is also available over the full distance.
The swim will take place in the art-deco Tinside Lido. The cycle will consist of a time trial across Plymouth Hoe. The row will be static on rowing machines in a marquee positioned on the Hoe promenade.
The all-important Awards Ceremony will be held on the main stage on Plymouth Hoe.
