Devon’s Top Attractions have been celebrating a successful 2023 across the county and are delighted to announce they have two new members to join their organisation in 2024.
The Devon Association of Tourist Attractions, offer families, groups, visitors and locals the ‘Best Days Out’ in Devon already have nearly 40 top attractions as part of association as well as several transport partners and now have two more prestigious attractions to add to their list of fantastic places to visit. The two new members are:
Killerton, National Trust is the first new member. Jamie Jones, Visitor Operations & Experiences Manager from Killerton said ‘Killerton is all about community and we are excited to be joining DATA’s. We have consistently felt that we are in good hands with the DATA team, who have made us feel welcome and aware of all the opportunities that will be coming our way. Being a part of DATA is a central part of our marketing plan as we will now be able to reach audiences that we could not have reached on our own. Already, I have begun to build relationships with other key attractions and I look forward to sharing best practise with them’.
The second new member is Dingles Fairground Museum. Guy Belshaw, Trustee & Hon Press Officer said ‘Dingles Fairground Museum (The Fairground Heritage Trust) decided to join DATA in October 2022 (the boom year, but we were prevented from opening as an indoor attraction due to “social distancing” concerns). Our position on this site was unclear and we considered DATA the best marketing platform to try and join. We were well aware of the importance of being on the DATA Map and the high level of engagement with potential visitors. It was a big spend for us and we are reliant on summer visitors for the all-important summer school holidays and DATA has an excellent platform to attract them. We were hugely impressed with the website as vibrant, easy to navigate and full of inspiration to visitors.
Anne Blackham, Marketing Manager of DATA said: ‘We are absolutely delighted that Killerton and Dingles Fairground Museum have joined our group. Our aim is always to give visitors a fabulous day out in Devon and we feel sure these new sites will do just that’. Our award winning attractions offer great value and brilliant fun for customers, there is something for everyone to enjoy at our top quality venues.’
All these attractions have been inspected to ensure they reach the standards expected to be a Top Attraction so visitors can be assured of a great day out when they visit.
